This course will run you through all the activities associated with being a great farm groom at any show! How to prepare the horse, the tack, what to carry... you name it! If you are detailed oriented, have some horse experience (it’s okay if you don’t ride!), have ever wondered what
happens to prepare a horse for the show and be part of that team that helps horse and client compete, this course is for you! There are barns looking to hire good competitve groom hands even just for shows all the time! This course is designed to help you get your foot in that door!
June 9-13; 8am-2pm Ages 14 & up with some horse experience Cost: $475
We do all the horse stuff, catch/brush/groom/ride/feed/bathe/etc as well as have time set aside to learn horse facts and do horse related crafts. Pants and closed toed shoes are required for riding activities. Be prepared for bugs, plenty of sunscreen and a water bottle. Learn horse care, nutrition and anatomy. Campers will have ride time daily, plus enjoy plenty of hands-on time learning and experiencing different aspects of the horse world both in and out of the saddle!

This is a 2 hour block of time for up to 2-4 people. Learning safety around horses, horse handling, learning to brush a horse, tacking up, basics of riding, Photo opportunity, No experience necessary. It’s a great, safe experience for anyone who is looking to know more about horses. Pants and closed toe shoes, something with a heel is best. Sneakers are fine. Anyone under the age of 18yrs old will be required to wear a helment. Helmets are provided. (Max weight limit per person of 200lbs.) Cost: $250
This is a 2 hour block of time for up to 5-8 children. Learning safety around horses, horse handling, learning to brush a horse, tacking up, basics of riding, Photo opportunity, No experience necessary.
